Craig's wedding/Illini alum updates

Well I am going to start up this blog again, see if I can keep it going this time! I am in New Orleans playing a challenger. I am fresh off a few weeks without tournaments after the US Open, some downtime with my family in San Diego and a weekend of partying with the Illinois guys for Craig Tiley's wedding. Above, is a pic of the entire Illini family who attended the wedding and reception at the Sofitel downtown Chicago. Amer couldn't make it because he was still in the US Open and a few other guys weren't there, but it was a blast overall, and really great to see all the guys doing so well in their respective careers. Here is what the Illinois alums are doing;

Mike Kosta has just moved to Hollywood (for those of you that live in a cave) and is moving up the sand up comedian ladder. He was featured on national TV on Live at Gotham, on Comedy Central, awesome!! www.michaelkosta.com

Mike Calkins has started a prestigious tennis academy in Seattle, WA and also has a few other things on his business horizon. I was up there this summer and he has a great following of kids and people helping him out with the business side of things.

Phil Stolt is starting a delivery food service with a toll free 800 number and website that will target college campuses and the hungry students who go there! He is also my part time strength and conditioning coach!

Chris Martin is doing very well in finance and is living with fellow Illini Evan Zeder in wrigleyville, Chicago, IL. Nice plasma and tempur pedic bed Cmartin, Im jealous!

Evan Zeder is doing commercial real estate in Chicago and is also perfecting his joke telling skills so that he stays in good graces with his boss(es)!!

Conner Murnigham is working for Northwestern Mutual on Park Avenue in New York city and recently was named the top rookie in the company and they flew him and his girlfriend to Bermuda on the company tab ( I LIIIIIKE)

Amer Delic is leading the charge out here on the Pro Tour and stands ranked 70 in the world. Recently he made the Rd. of 16 in doubles at the US Open and is the top seed here in New Orleans, ndemo Bozz!! He is still dropping bombs and eating mike and ikes!

Rajeev Ram is next in line here on the Atp Circuit and is ranked 190 and now top 100 in doubles after a quarterfinal finish at Wimbledon with Harel Levy this summer, why didn't you pick me Raj!! Raj is smooth as ever and is monkey jungling his way towards the top 100

Bruce Berque is unstable due to the Michigan foosball team's current record. Ha, no Bruce is doing great, his Michigan tennis team is top 20 nationally and has taken them from the cellar to the top 3 in the Big Ten conference, kudos Boozer! Oh, and he has a new hip! Niice

Jeff Laski is your man if you want state of the art ergonomic office furniture. He is also your man if you want someone with a 140 mph cannon from and deft touch at the net!!

Ryler Deheart is training hard and spending quality time with Zaineb in Champaign, Il. He looks to make a breakout this fall on the US challenger circuit! Circular Swing Ryler!!

Pramod Dabir is killing it in the San Fran financial scene. He told me he has a private job lined up and will be buying the drinks next time we all get together and make fun of him or lock him in a locker!

Gavin Sontag is moving his way up for the surgical supply company Stryker and is looking good in his custom tailored suits. He told me he may make a locale change soon.

Nathan Zeder is working in real estate down in Miami and doing quite well. He has a girlfriend whom we all heard a LITTLE during the reunion/wedding. He enjoys alcohol and food.

Cary Franklin is working in banking in Atlanta and has just launched a website with a few friends called www.SneakySunday.com. A very cool, sophisticated website for young people looking for interesting things to do in various US cities. check it out!!
